- Provide support and encouragement.
- Be a positive role model of good sportsmanship. Show respect to coaches, officials, and opponents.
- Provide consistency in training. Give your child the opportunity to come to the club to practice regularly so they can realize the benefits of fencing.
- At competitions don’t focus on wins and losses; loosing is part of the journey and an opportunity to learn. Praise good technique, strategy, and good sportsmanship. Winning will follow.
