High Performance Program

The High Performance Program has been developed to provide our young fencers with the best training environment to help them reach their highest potential on the national and international stage.

What we offer

  • Coaches will decide the appropriate fencing style for the fencer
  • Individual training plans will be developed and applied

  • Overseas training camps (Singapore, Hong Kong, China)

Program fees

  • Beginner Level 1 – $55 per week/per term
  • Intermediate Level 1 – $55 per week/ per term
  • Intermediate Level 2 – $96 per week/ per term

High Performance Program Schedule

Tuesday:

4:30-6:00pm intermediate group training

6:00-7:30pm free bouting / private lessons

Wednesday:

4:30-6:00pm practice bouting / private lessons

6:00-7:30pm free bouting / private lessons

Thursday:

4:30-6:00pm intermediate group training

6:00-7:30 pm free bouting private lessons

Friday:

4:30-6:00pm practice bouting / private lessons

6:00-7:30pm free bouting / private lessons

Saturday:

10:30-2:30pm free bouting / private lessons

1:00-2:00pm beginner group training

Fee policy

Term Fees: Enrolling in a coaching program is a commitment to the full term. Full fees are payable at the commencement of each term. No refund will be given if a fencer leaves during a teaching term.

Term length: The term will be aligned with the public school system. Term lengths in any given year may vary between 9 and 11 weeks.

Illness or Injury: Make-up sessions are not offered for missed group classes. Students who miss private lessons due to illness must inform the head coach on the day and provide a medical certificate to harry@tizonafencingclub.com.au to be eligible for a make-up lesson during term. If possible, Tizona will reschedule a make-up lesson but is under no obligation to do so. Make-up lessons will be subject to coach availability. Missed lessons will not be carried over to a new term. Students that miss training sessions are not entitled to a fee reduction.

International competitions: Students fencing in international competitions will be eligible for a fee reduction.

Discontinuation of Training: After the coaching term you can cancel by giving 14 days written notice prior to the commence of a new term.
